Child Safety Standards

1. Our Commitment

hanso, the developer of the Hanso app, is committed to the safety of children on our platform. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking of minors, or any other form of child exploitation. Such content and behavior is strictly prohibited on Hanso.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Hanso:

• Any Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), including images, videos, text, drawings, or computer-generated content that sexually exploits minors.
• Grooming, solicitation, or predatory behavior directed at minors.
• Sextortion or the non-consensual sharing of intimate images involving minors.
• Sharing personal information of minors that could facilitate exploitation.
• Trafficking, sale, or exploitation of minors in any form.
• Any content that sexualizes minors or promotes CSAE.

3. Age Requirement

Hanso is intended for users 18 years of age and older. Accounts belonging to users under 18 are not permitted and will be removed when identified.

4. In-App Reporting Mechanism

Users can report any content, comment, message, or user profile suspected of violating our Child Safety Standards directly within the Hanso app. Every post, comment, and profile has a "Report" option available. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and violating content is removed promptly. Users can also block other users to prevent any further interaction.

5. How We Address CSAM

When CSAM is identified on Hanso, we take the following actions:

• Immediately remove the content from the platform.
• Permanently ban the account(s) responsible.
• Preserve relevant evidence in accordance with applicable law.
• Report the incident to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, and to any other relevant national authorities as required by law.
• Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

6. Compliance with Applicable Laws

hanso complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

• 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (mandatory reporting of CSAM to NCMEC)
• The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
• The EU Digital Services Act (DSA), where applicable
• The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 (India), where applicable
• All other applicable local, national, and international child safety laws in jurisdictions where Hanso is available

8. Updates to These Standards

We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, applicable laws, or Google Play policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
